IndiGo is offering Cadet Pilot Program at different locations specially designed to enable aspiring young pilots to receive both their initial CPL and an Airbus A 320 Type Rating in a focused and efficient way. After completing their procedure you get a job in Indigo airline as JFO, Junior First Officer. IndiGo offers various Cadet Program depending on the location the training will be held and to get into a Indigo Cadet Program you have to pass entrance rounds listed by them to start your pilot training as a Cadet in IndiGo Cadet Program.

Each IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program have their own specific eligibility criteria.
Few eligibility criteria which are common to all the courses are
- Minimum academic qualification- 10+2 with atleasr 51% in each English, Maths and Physics.
- Physically fit and healthy
- Fluent in English both, Written and Verbal.

IndiGo Cadet Program CAE
IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme – International Pathway. Selected cadets will train across two of CAE’s academies in India and the USA. This self-sponsored International Pathway is jointly designed by CAE and IndiGo to enable you to train for a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and an Airbus A320 Type Rating with CAE before going on to fly as an A320 First Officer with IndiGo. Flying training will be done in USA or Australia.
IndiGo Cadet Program FTA
IndiGo Cadet Program! FTA has extensive experience in delivering airline cadet pilot training to airlines worldwide over the last 37 years. FTA is the current approved training provider for Cathay Pacific Airways, Cathay Dragon, Cebu Pacific, China Airlines, Cobham, Hong Kong Government Flying Service, TAG Aviation, Qantas Group Pilot Academy, QantasLink, Skymark, and Virgin Australia.
They offer a high quality, fit-for-purpose training program to facilitate your employment as a First Officer with IndiGo Airlines. Flying training will be done in Australia.
IndiGo Cadet Program L3
By entering into this program, you will embark upon a unique route of training. Successful completion of training and the final checks by IndiGo will take you directly to the role of Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, flying IndiGo domestic and international routes.
IndiGo Cadet Program Skyborne
They are directly working with IndiGo, India’s leading passenger airline, to select, train and supply industry-ready pilots as part of a new IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme. This enables you to learn and train the Skyborne way before embarking on a career as an A320 First Officer with IndiGo. Flying training will be done in USA.
IndiGo Cadet Program New Zealand
By entering into this program, you will embark upon a unique route of training. Successful completion of training and the final checks by IndiGo will take you directly to the role of Junior First Officer on the Airbus A320 aircraft, flying IndiGo domestic and international routes. The Flying training will be done in New Zealand.
IndiGo Cadet Program Insight
IndiGo, the leading airline of India, has appointed Insight Aviation to select and train ab-initio pilots for their Cadet Pilot Program to fulfill their growing demand for pilots to cater for their massive fleet growth. Insight Aviation, in conjunction with its international and local partners, offers a comprehensive DGCA compliant pilot training program that is designed to offer maximum efficiency at the lowest cost. Flying training will be done in South Africa.

CAA and IndiGo have partnered to launch the Cadet Pilot Program (CPP) to source their Junior Flying Officers (JFOs). This program is designed to train aspiring pilots selected by IndiGo to attain their Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL-MEIR) and A320 Type Rating.
