The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) is an autonomous body in India. It is located in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, India. The academy offers a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) course and a B.Sc. (Aviation) degree. The entrance exam for the CPL course consists of a written test, a pilot aptitude/psychometric test, and a viva/interview. The written test contains objective-type questions in mathematics, physics, and English, and is conducted in offline mode. The academy conducts the entrance exam on an all-India basis at major cities covering all Indian states and union territories, subject to availability of sufficient candidates at respective centers. IGRUA Entrance Exam is conducted after 12th Exams.

The selection process for the CPL course and B.Sc. (Aviation) degree at IGRUA is a three-tier process. The first tier is an online written test that includes objective-type questions on General English, Mathematics, Physics, Reasoning, and Current Affairs of 10+2 level. The second tier is a pilot aptitude test that assesses the candidate’s ability to handle an aircraft and their decision-making skills. The third tier is a viva/interview that evaluates the candidate’s communication skills, general knowledge, and personality. You can appear for IGRUA Entrance Exam if you had Physics, Maths and English in Class 12th.

The educational eligibility for both the courses is 10+2 in science stream with minimum 55% marks in Physics and Mathematics taken together. The minimum age of the candidate must be 16 years.
